Information for New Participants
If you're bringing a boat to Lake Texoma, you'll want to check-in with the Grandpappy Point Marina Office, so you can arrange to launch your boat (either by trailer or travel lift) and be assigned a visitor slip (if needed). If you've reserved a cabin or campsite, that's also where you'll pick up your keys and get directions.
Come to the Texoma Sailing Club clubhouse for the skipper's meeting Saturday morning and for the post-race party Sunday afternoon.
Marina Office for Boat Launch and Slip Assignment
If you're staying in one of the cabins, you'll check-in and pick up your keys here. If you're staying in one of the campsites, you'll also check-in here and get directions to your site. If you'd like to stay on-site during Wunderlick, early reservations are highly recommended, as it's a holiday weekend. Grandpappy Point Marina has graciously offered discounted use of their travel lift for launching and haul out and a free slip for participating boats during Wunderlick. All they ask is for participants to check-in so that they can be assigned a slip (eliminates confusion over which slip belongs to what boat) and receive an access key to the appropriate dock. Access to the travel lift (marked with a yellow circle on this map) and launch ramp is from the parking lot immediately behind the marina office. |
